Essential knowledge for our dealers

You want to actively promote Dynnox, that’s great!

However, it’s important that you have the right knowledge when offering Dynnox to your customers. Below, we have clearly laid out the knowledge you require. Being armed with this knowledge will avoid the need for discussions afterwards. Moreover, you’ll make your customer happy with a story you can live up to.

Terminology

Good to know

  • Dynnox is only suitable for commercial vehicles, not for passenger cars and not for pick-ups.
  • You can install Dynnox in almost all commercial vehicles to operate via the side door or rear door.
  • The chassis is height-adjustable, which is why Dynnox is suitable for all possible loading heights of commercial vehicles.
  • The car interface can be fixed to the floor of a commercial vehicle (standard) or it can be demountable . See the 3D animation “Step 1 : The car interface” below.
  • When making your sale, it’s important to make an immediate choice  between standard wheels or pneumatic tyres. A Dynnox with pneumatic tyres is 7 cm wider. See the 3D animation“Additional option: Pneumatic tyres”below. You can retrofit this option, but it requires a wider wooden plate and “loading tray”.
  • The Dynnox is locked to the floor.

The “basic” surface-mounted module

The basic surface-mounted module is a drawer  that efficiently fills the space between the legs. A wooden plate is mounted on this drawer. All kinds of cabinets, machines and/or other objects can then be placed on this. This plate is obviously wider than the drawer itself, so that maximum space can be used. The wooden plate should be cut to size based on the cabinets, machines and/or objects that will be placed on it.

Note 1: After loading the Dynnox, lock the last loaded legs (the ones that are folded up). This feature is not available as standard and we do not carry it in our range, as customers’ surface-mounted modules vary.

Note 2: The cabinets and wooden plate must be ordered separately

What are the parts  of  a “complete Dynnox”?

A complete Dynnox does not include a surface-mounted module or the basic module

A complete Dynnox contains:
A car interfacewithout wooden plate* and without small material* (2 boxes)

  • An undercarriage (carrier) with standard wheels (2 boxes)

A complete Dynnox with pneumatic tyres includes:

  • car interface without wooden plate* and without small material*  (2 boxes)
  • An undercarriage (carrier) with two fixed wheels  (2 boxes) and without castors.
The castors must be chosen separately.

The Dynnox on pneumatic tyres is more expensive because more parts are needed and because some parts are different. See the 3D animation “Additional option : Pneumatic tyres”below

Recommendation

It is useful to also order the wooden plate and the small material   if you have not ordered a Dynnox very often before. This prevents having to do a lot of research.
Indeed, the wooden plate needs to be CNC machined. The wooden plate needs to be milled on both sides. The exact positioning of the Dynnox components on the wooden plate is very important.

* Dealers often have their own colour for the wooden plate and/or a CNC to produce the wooden plate themselves. Dealers often also have the  small material in stock.

Assembly instructions

The assembly of a Dynnox is carried out in three steps. These three steps are explained in 3D clips below. There are no documents available.

It is up to you to respect your country’s guidelines when it comes to fitting in the relevant commercial vehicles and making any modifications to those vehicles. We therefore recommend that you always have a Dynnox fitted to your commercial vehicle by professionals.

Step 2: The chassis

Step 3: The relationship between the chassis and the car interface
